Hour & Sky

Every birth happened under a particular sky. Hour & Sky draws that one: the sun, the moon and the planets exactly where they stood over that place, at that minute, painted in watercolor and printed to keep.

Drawing the chart is free and takes a date, a time and a town. The print is the same chart on cotton paper, and it ships with a five by seven card that reads it in plain words. The sun sign, the moon sign, the rising sign, and the phase the moon was in that night.

The positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris, which agrees with the tables NASA publishes to a thousandth of an arcsecond. Whatever anyone makes of astrology, the sky in the picture is the sky that was there.
